SS501′s Kim Kyu Jong has topped Tower Records′ daily chart in Japan.

Kim Kyu Jong′s agency stated on July 21, "Kim Kyu Jong′s debut Japanese single Drawing Love has ranked number one on Tower Records Japan′s daily sales chart."

Kim Kyu Jong, originally a SS501 member, is releasing his debut solo album after a three-year hiatus. With the number one ranking, Kim Kyu Jong′s solo promotions in Japan are off to a smooth start.


Kim Kyu Jong′s debut single Drawing Love is a medium tempo track, produced by XEPY, who created hits including San E′s Break Up Dinner, Soyou X JunggiGo′s Some, Davichi′s Two Love and more. The single also includes Kim Kyu Jong′s self-written and self-composed track To You..(Our Story). As it′s his first release in Japan, rumor has it Kim Kyu Jong poured his affections into the album.


Meanwhile, Kim Kyu Jong will take off for promotions in Japan on July 22.
